1 cup of curd 1 cup of water 1/2 tsp of mustard 1/2 tsp of of jeera 1/2 tsp of chana dal 1/2 tsp of urad dal Curry leaves 2-3 dry red chillies 1 inch of ginger (chopped) 10 small onions (chopped) 1 tbsp of oil 1/4 tsp of hing or asafoetida

First, take a bowl of curd and whisk it.

Then, add a cup of water into the curd.

In a pan, add oil and make the tadka with chopped chillies, urad dal, mustard, jeera and chana dal.

Add the baby onions, curry leaves and ginger to the pan and keep roasting. Add turmeric powder, hing and red chilli powder.
