Chef Kunal Kapur's mouth-watering badam ka halwa recipe is tempting and we cannot stop ourselves from overeating this delish dessert.

• 200 g almonds • 1½ cup milk • 1/2 cup ghee • 1 cup sugar • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder • A pinch of saffron • 1 tbsp rosewater

• Start by boiling almonds in water for 2-3 minutes. Once done, wash boiled almonds in cold water and peel them.

• Next, grind 1 cup milk and peeled almonds in a blender for a smooth paste.

• In the next step, heat ghee in oil and pour the milk and almond mixture. Let it cook in low heat.

• Use a wooden ladle to stir gently until you get a dense mawa-like texture. Add sugar and cook once again.

• After sugar dissolves, add cardamom powder and a 1/2 cup milk-soaked saffron mixture. Mix all ingredients for a few minutes.

Rich and appetising badam ka halwa is ready to be relished. Garnish with crushed roasted almonds and enjoy.
