1 inch ginger (chopped finely) 5-6 garlic cloves (chopped finely) 3 green chillies (chopped finely) 1/2 carrot (chopped finely) 5 cups water 1 Chicken stock cube 1 tsp white pepper 1 tsp sugar Cornflour slurry (6 tsp cornflour +3 tsp water) 100-150g chicken (cut in small cubes and marinated in ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, baking soda and salt) 2 egg whites (whipped to soft peaks)

First, saute finely chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies in oil on medium heat.

Then, add the chicken cubes, water and the chicken stock.

Add salt, sugar, white pepper and the cornflour slurry.

Add the whipped egg white once the soup comes to a boil.
