Delhi-Style Ram Ladoo

Chef Saransh Goila shared a  Ram Ladoo recipe that is perfect  for this chilly weather. 

Ingredients

1 cup soaked moong dal ½ cup soaked chana dal ½ cup soaked urad dal Ginger 2 green chillis Radish leaves Salt Coriander leaves Mint leaves 2 Garlic cloves Juice of ½  lemon 1 tsp bhuna jeera powder ½ tsp chaat masala powder

Blend The Dals

1. In a blender, add all three soaked dals, along with ½ inch ginger, 1 green chilli, and some radish leaves. 2. Add some water, if required, and blend till you get a smooth thick paste. 

Make The Batter Fluffy 

3. Beat the batter till it becomes fluffy and light in colour.

For Chutney

4. To make the chutney, take a handful of radish leaves, coriander leaves, and mint leaves in a blender. 5. Add 2 garlic cloves, ½  inch ginger, 1 green chilli, water, lemon juice, bhuna jeera powder, and chaat masala powder. 6. Blend till you get a smooth chutney. 

Frying Time

7. With the help of an ice cream scooper, make small ladoos & fry them in hot oil. 

Assemble

8. Place the fried Ram Ladoo on a plate, and top it with some shredded radish, prepared green chutney & red chutney.

And that’s it, your Ram Ladoos are ready to be devoured!
