Chef Kirti Bhoutika shared an amazing Masala Crispy Rice Salad recipe with bold, crunchy, and amazing flavours.
1 cup boiled rice 1 tsp dhania powder 1 tsp garam masala ½ tsp haldi turmeric powder 1 tbsp chilli oil 1 grated carrot 1 sliced cucumber 1 sliced tomato 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds 2 tbsp peanuts Fresh mint leaves 2 tbsp olives 3 tbsp yoghurt 2 tbsp chopped coriander 1 small piece ginger 1 clove garlic 1 tsp lemon juice Salt
1. Mix rice with dhania powder, garam masala, haldi, and chili oil. 2. Spread on a tray lined with butter paper & bake at 180°C for 20-25 mins.
3. In a bowl, combine the carrot, cucumber, tomato, pomegranate, olives, peanuts, and fresh herbs 4. Add the crispy rice.
5. Blend yoghurt, coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, and salt to make a smooth dressing.
6. Drizzle mint dressing over the salad. 7. Toss well.
