Enjoy the winter chills by relishing homemade methi ladoo. You can make these healthy sweets following Chef Aruna Vijay's recipe.

• 1 cup methi • 1 cup wheat flour • 3/4 cup chopped almonds • 1/4 cup edible gum (gond) • 2 tbsp dry ginger powder • 1/4 cup poppy seeds • 1/4 cup dhana kuli • 3/4 cup grated dried coconut • 1¼ jaggery • Ghee

• Stary by dry roasting methi in a pan till it turns golden brown. Cool roasted methi and grind it into a coarse powder. Combine the powder in milk and keep the bowl aside overnight.

• Next morning, heat 1/4 cup ghee in a pan and cook the methi mixture for 15-20 minutes till its colour changes.

• In the next step, heat ghee in another pan and cook wheat flour on low heat.

• Once its colour changes to golden brown, add gond and cook for a few more minutes.

• Then, add poppy seeds, grated dry coconut, chopped almonds, dhana kuli, and dry ginger powder powder and combine well.

• Transfer the cooked mixture to a plate. Add grated jaggery while it remains warm and mix gently.

Shape methi ladoos, let them cool down completely, and enjoy!
