The iconic Palm Jebel Ali, paused in 2009, is making a powerful comeback. Announced by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2023, the project will include residences, hotels, and leisure attractions on a 13.4-kilometre island.
Palm Jebel Ali will feature 16 fronds, 91 kilometres of beachfront, and 80 new hotels. Nakheel, the developer, reached a key milestone in 2024 by awarding a Dhs810 million contract for marine works.
The first villas on Palm Jebel Ali, launched in September 2023, will be delivered by late 2026. Prices for Coral and Beach villas start from Dhs18.1 million, offering floor-to-ceiling windows and private beaches.
A new set of five- and six-bedroom beachfront villas is now on sale. Priced similarly to phase one, these homes blend luxury with serene beachfront views.
For those seeking a smaller space, apartment blocks will soon be available on the island. Sales are expected to follow the villa launches.
Palm Jebel Ali promises a variety of resorts, including wellness, family, and eco-themed options. Renderings hint at world-class amenities and unmatched hospitality experiences
The island will feature a yacht club, beach clubs, lifestyle malls, and parks. It will also boast a sunset promenade, family beach, and a tower with panoramic views.
The top of Palm Jebel Ali will feature the Gateway Towers and a celebration village, creating a landmark akin to Palm Jumeirah’s Atlantis.
