– Semolina (rava/sooji) – Ghee – Water – Onions – Green chilies – Ginger – Curry leaves – Salt – Turmeric powder – Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Heat ghee in a pan and roast semolina (rava/sooji) until golden and fragrant.

Remove roasted semolina and set aside, then sauté chopped onions in same pan until translucent.

Add green chilies, ginger, and curry leaves to the onions and continue sautéing for additional flavour.

Pour water into the pan and bring to a boil, adding salt and turmeric powder.

Gradually add roasted semolina to boiling water, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
