Chef Kunal Kapur took to Instagram to share an amazing Gur Makhana recipe that is easy to make and absolutely delicious!
Ghee 2 cups makhana ½ cup chopped jaggery ½ tsp baking soda 2 tbsp sesame seeds 1 tbsp saunf ½ tsp black pepper ¼ tsp black salt

1. Add 2 tbsp ghee to a kadhai and add the makhanas to it. 2. Roast till they become crunchy and set them aside.
3. Now, add 1 tbsp ghee to the kadhai along with some chopped jaggery. 4. Melt it on low flame and then add some baking soda to it.
5. Then add the roasted makhanas, along with some sesame seeds, saunf, black pepper, and black salt 6. Mix everything well.
7. Take it off the heat and press it down. 8. Once cool, separate each makhana.
And that’s it, your Lohri-special Gur Makhana is ready to be served and enjoyed.
