Wild video captured the terrifying moment a tornado lifted a Florida home into the air — with a terrified woman still inside.
The doorcam footage obtained by WFLA showed howling winds lifting a home in Ranchero Village in Largo clean off the ground before sending it crashing back down during a night of violent storms Wednesday.
“There was a lady in there, and I guess when the house went up, it stayed up for a second and came back down,” said Martha Hicks, the neighbor whose camera caught the terrifying incident.
Hicks spoke to her neighbor after the perilous incident.
“She says she rolled around a few times and had debris on top of her but when the house finally landed she managed to get herself out,” Hicks told the outlet.
Debris is also seen swirling around the area and flying by nearby homes in the footage.
The tornado touched down Wednesday night after severe storms tore through Pinellas County, bringing hail and severe winds, the outlet reported.
Despite widespread property damage, no residents reported injuries, the Largo Police Department told Fox 2 Now.
