Yup, the Denver Broncos have seen that photo of Hailee Steinfeld, too.

During the team’s playoff game against Josh Allen (Steinfeld’s husband) and the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, January 17, the Broncos boasted a fan’s poster on the big screen at Mile High Stadium, which had printed on it the viral picture of Steinfeld posing while wearing Broncos gear.

ESPN’s Bills reporter Alaina Getzenberg shared a photo via social media of the hilarious moment.

To be clear, the photo of Steinfeld, 29, was taken back in 2016, after the Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

UPDATE — 1/16/26, 10:05 a.m. ET: Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen responded after a picture of his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, wearing Denver Broncos gear went viral.  “Asked Josh about this pic and he told me he had no idea it was floating around,” CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson posted via X on Thursday, January 15. “Laughed […]

The picture resurfaced last week and went viral on social media ahead of the playoff matchup between the Bills and the Broncos on Saturday.

Allen, 29, responded to seeing the photo on Thursday, January 15, telling CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson that he hadn’t seen it and “wasn’t going to bring it up at home.”

“Asked Josh about this pic and he told me he had no idea it was floating around,” Wolfson posted via X. “Laughed and said she was probably paid to be there. And that he definitely wasn’t going to bring it up at home. 😂”

Allen and Steinfeld got married in May 2025, recently announcing that they are expecting their first baby.

Steinfeld showed off her baby bump on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11. At the same time, the Bills defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in the NFL Wild Card Round.

Being at the awards show wasn’t going to stop Steinfeld from following along with her husband’s playoff game. She wrote in her “Beau Society” newsletter that she was “distracted” by the game during the evening.

“The day of the [Golden] Globes, something exciting was on TV that I’m sure you were all watching,” Steinfeld wrote in the Friday, January 16, edition of her newsletter. “Kickoff just happened to be at the same time as glam, so I was a little (lot) distracted.”

She even admitted to waiting for a break in the action before putting on her makeup for the awards show, praising her makeup artists, Ash Kholm and Tom Bachik, for understanding the importance of the moment.

“Ash waited for a commercial break to do my eyeliner,” she wrote on Friday. “I don’t know how Tom painted my nails with my hands flying around, but he got it done. Dream team.”

Steinfeld’s movie, Sinners, was nominated for seven awards and took home trophies for Best Original Score – Motion Picture and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

Allen, too, was following along with his wife’s big night from across the country. After his victory over the Jaguars, Allen shared a picture of Steinfeld on the red carpet via his Instagram Story, adding drooling and heart-eye emojis.

Allen discussed Steinfeld’s pregnancy with reporters following a win over the New England Patriots on December 14, 2025.

“I’ve known for a long time, right? So it’s not that crazy to me,” he said. “But yeah, I mean, obviously the love that I’ve received from teammates and friends, it’s a really cool special moment in my life. And my wife’s life.”
