Chris Appleton volunteered as tribute to break Khloé Kardashian‘s four-year dry spell.
During the Thursday, October 8, episode of The Kardashians, Khloé, 42, revealed that the end of 2025 marked “four years” since she slept with someone.
“Chris Appleton, he literally gets stunned every time he hears that I am still not sexually active. It’s crazy,” she told the cameras in a confessional. “He talks about this like I have leprosy.”
Khloé’s sister Kim Kardashian suggested she rekindle her connection — briefly — with an ex, but she replied, “My recycle list is such gutter. No one wants me to recycle my list. They are the bottom of the barrel.”
While listening to details about Khloé’s love life, Chris, 43, admitted he is worried. In response, Kris Jenner replied, “Why don’t you sleep with her then?” Chris said he would, but Khloé wasn’t as thrilled by the suggestion.
“My friends, they are all like, ‘I will have sex with you,’” she quipped. “That’s not what I am talking about.”
Kim, 45, teased, “That is so nice of Chris to want to do that.”
The hairstylist previously expressed his concerns about Khloé in a March 2025 episode of the Hulu series when he urged Kim and their friend group “get Khloé laid.”
“I just haven’t been intimate in quite a long time,” Khloé explained in a confessional about her decision to hit pause on dating. “We are going back to square one — born again.”
Khloé poked fun at Chris’ investment in her sex life.
“You are obsessed with knowing that I haven’t had sex,” she quipped. “He loves that I haven’t had sex in so many years. I can get someone to have sex with me, I just don’t want to have sex right now.”
The reality star has been candid about how her past relationships — and motherhood — have played a role in her reluctance to find a new partner. Khloé shares kids True, 8, and Tatum, 4, with ex Tristan Thompson. Before their split, the former couple dated on and off from 2016 to 2021, they called it quits for good after his multiple cheating scandals.
“Tristan and I, we always get along great. Him and I have a great friendship relationship. We get along fine, and for my kids, I will put anything to the side. What’s done is done, so why would I be still holding on to [past drama] for?” Khloé said on The Kardashians in June 2023. “I don’t need to punish him because I am not getting back together with him.”
Khloé said setting boundaries helped her start fresh with the athlete. “If I am not here, he is here. I would rather him be here than a nanny. There are still boundaries. Like, I definitely put my foot down on a lot of things,” she added. “No one is here chilling if there are no kids involved. It is always about the kids and that’s what it is. But we are not hanging out by ourselves.”
