Carmen Andrade, who often makes YouTube videos about life as a conjoined twin, married boyfriend Daniel McCormack.

“We eloped in October with our families,” Andrade, 25, and McCormack, 28, told Today.com on Thursday, July 10.

Andrade and McCormack met on the dating app Hinge in October 2020, going on to document their relationship via social media. They recently detailed their wedding in a YouTube video titled “Overdue Update.”

“I should probably also address something else [to mention] that’s pretty big,” Carmen said in her May video with twin sister Lupita Andrade. “I did get married … to the same guy [I’ve been with] for the last five years.”

They tied the knot in a “small get-together” with only their families in attendance.

“I don’t like those weddings where they invite the third cousin twice removed,” McCormack said. “I’m just, like, ‘I’m sorry, but great-uncle Patrick, who I haven’t seen since I was 3 [is] not worth a seat at my table.’”

Carmen concurred with McCormack, noting that her “social anxiety” made a small ceremony the perfect choice for the big day.

“It was pretty. It was autumn, which made it even prettier,” she recalled. “I did not wear white [and] I don’t regret it. I don’t like white, but that’s just my thing.”

Lupita, 25, chimed in, stressing that she didn’t get married at the same time.

“I don’t want to get married because I don’t want to,” Lupita, who identifies as asexual, said.

Weeks later, McCormack marked Carmen’s birthday with a sweet social media tribute.

“Happy Birthday to my amazing wife, partner in life, and my forever best friend ❤️,” McCormack gushed on June 5.

Carmen previously “never tried to hide” that she was a conjoined twin when looking for love.

“I never tried to hide the fact that I’m a conjoined twin, which meant I got a lot of messages from guys with fetishes. I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition,” Carmen told Today in 2024. “I have social anxiety, and I’ve ended up canceling dates at the last minute, but I felt calm on the way there.”

Carmen also gushed at the time that McCormack and Lupita “get along really well.”

“It’s funny because I stay up later than Lupita, but when Daniel sleeps over, I fall asleep quickly — and he stays up talking with her,” she told the outlet. “Sometimes I feel bad because I want to spend so much time with Daniel. So we try to come up with compromises. Like, [Lupita] will choose where we go out to dinner, or what activity we’re going to do.”
