Donald Trump Jr., the son of President Donald Trump, is engaged to Bettina Anderson.
The couple announced the news at a White House event they attended alongside the president on Monday, December 15, per footage posted on social media.
In the video, Donald Jr., 47, thanked Bettina “for that one word — yes,” as they addressed the audience gathered at a holiday party. “She said ‘yes,’ so that’s a big win for the end of the year.”
The Trump Organization executive vice president then invited Bettina, 39, to say a few words.
“Wow, what a privilege it is to be here at the White House, Mr. President. Thank you so much for hosting this incredible party,” she said, turning to her future father-in-law.
“And to our First Lady, these decorations … am I right? They are unbelievable,” Bettina added, referring to Melania Trump, who decorates the White House each holiday season.
She added, “It’s really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life, and I get to marry the love of my life. I feel just like the luckiest girl in the world.”
Donald Jr. and Bettina — the daughter of late philanthropist Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and his wife, Inger Anderson — were first linked late last year and made their red carpet debut together at a pre-Super Bowl party in New Orleans back in February.
Their engagement comes just six months after a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Bettina was ready to walk down the aisle with Donald Jr.
“She would love to have kids one day and sees what a good father he is,” a source told Us in July. “She 100 percent would say yes if he asked her to marry him and his friends think that will happen sooner than later.”
“He is very much a gentleman and pulls her chair out, lets her order first and treats her so well,” the source added.
As for Bettina, “She is more shy but funny and Don appreciates how she lets him talk to people and be around his guy friends and hold her own conversations and enjoy herself,” the insider said.
“They hold hands and always sneak in little kisses and he tells her how smart and gorgeous she is all the time,” the source added.
Donald Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump, 47, with whom he shares five children: daughters Kai, 18, and Chloe, 11, and sons Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, and Spencer, 13.
Donald Jr. and Vanessa finalized their divorce in 2018, the same year the businessman began dating former Fox News cohost Kimberly Guilfoyle.
They got engaged in December 2020, but called it quits by the end of 2024.
“Don and Kimberly broke up before the election and started to divide assets around the end of September,” a source exclusively told Us in December 2024.
Donald Jr. told Page Six at the time, “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond. I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play [as U.S. ambassador to Greece.]”
Kimberly, 56, was sworn in as the first female ambassador to Greece in September and took office in November.
