Farrah Abraham Responds to Fan Praising Her After Daughter Sophia Debuts Bold New Orange Hair Look

Farrah Abraham is letting her 16-year-old daughter, Sophia Abraham, take center stage and express herself sartorially — and she’s proudly cheering her on every step of the way.

The Teen Mom alum, 34, responded to a fan’s praise on Instagram after Sophia debuted a bold new look at the 2025 Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea Awards on Wednesday, September 17.

The teen rocked a vivid orange bob, dark goth-glam makeup and a flowing black dress while making an appearance alongside her mom, also sporting the snake bite piercings that she got in 2023.

“Love that she lets her be who she feels and wants to be and Sophia is beautiful,” one social media user wrote in the comments section of the post on Thursday, September 18, to which Farrah replied with several fire emoji on Friday, September 19. “I love that they have polar opposite styles and Farrah lets Sophia be herself. True unconditional love!” another fan echoed.

Farrah, for her part, wore a leopard-print slip dress, completing her look with peep-toe heels and sparkling jewelry. She opted for a long and sleek style with her platinum blonde hair.

The duo were in great spirits while speaking with the outlet about Sophia growing up in the spotlight and Farrah documenting her pregnancy journey as well as her life as a young parent.

“I think it’s cool being in the spotlight with my mom,” Sophia told Page Six, after which Farrah beamed with pride and thanked her daughter for “making me famous.”

“I’m a nepo mom,” Farrah quipped during their interview.

Farrah also recently spoke to Us Weekly about her self-love journey ahead of her episode of A&E’s docuseries Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes, which airs on Monday, September 22.

“I actually love who I am at 34 but it has taken such a long way to get here to just be like, ‘Hey, this is plain Farrah, love that skin you’re in.’ And I needed this, and I think I needed to feel this alone, not with someone around me,” she told Us.

The My Teenage Dream Ended author will open up about her personal “story of survival and sexual health” on the new A&E series, which takes “an unfiltered deep dive into the most infamous celebrity sex tapes.”

Ahead of the debut, she took to Instagram to share, “It’s time to talk about what it was really like and reflect on a time in my life that made me the strong successful woman I am today.”
