Hugh Jackman and Girlfriend Sutton Foster Spotted Traveling Together in Rare New York City Outing

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are seemingly headed out of town.

The couple were spotted arriving at LaGuardia Airport in New York City on Thursday, September 18, according to photos obtained by People. Jackman, 56, maneuvered two suitcases and sported a backpack while Foster, 50, walked by her boyfriend’s side. Foster carried a backpack and purse.

The pair kept their outing casual. Jackman donned a blue polo shirt, dark wash jeans and a jacket. He also opted for a black face mask and baseball cap. Foster looked cozy in a yellow cardigan, green athleisure pants and a T-shirt.

Us Weekly previously reported in November 2024 that Jackman and Foster started seeing each other after growing close during their 2022 run of The Music Man on Broadway. Before costarring in the musical, the twosome were friends and married to their respective partners. Jackman was married to Deborra-Lee Furness, while Foster was married to Ted Griffin. Jackman and Furness separated in September 2023, while Foster filed for divorce from Griffin in October 2024.)

“Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced,” an insider claimed to Us at the time. “A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap.”

Two months later, Jackman and Foster subtly confirmed their romance. The Deadpool & Wolverine star was spotted supporting Foster in the final show of her musical Once Upon a Mattress in Los Angeles. Days later, the pair were photographed while out on a dinner date in Santa Monica. Foster and Jackman have since been spotted holding hands and packing on the PDA.

“They’re not officially living together but spending a lot of time together,” a second source exclusively told Us in February, noting that the Broadway stars are “relieved and happy” to no longer keep their romance hidden.

While Furness and Jackman split in 2023, the actress did not file for divorce until nearly two years later. Us confirmed that Furness submitted the paperwork in May that signified the exes had hashed out their divorce details behind closed doors after announcing their breakup. Jackman and Furness’ divorce was finalized the following month.

After finalizing their divorce, Us reported that Jackman and Foster enjoyed some rest and relaxation in the Berkshires in July. An additional source told Us at the time that the duo took “a little getaway” to the luxurious wellness resort Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Massachusetts.
