YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Florida less than a year after being cited for drug possession. The content creator was previously placed under citizen’s arrest in 2022 after an incident at a Los Angeles nightclub.

“We were at HYDE, the club, and usually when we go there, we order a few bottles and we just get unnecessarily drunk,” Hall said on the “BFFs” podcast later that year. “One of the ladies tried to upcharge me an extra three bottles and I said, ‘I definitely didn’t order all of this, so I’m not paying for this.’ And she’s like, ‘No, you did.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know how many drunk people you try to scam by saying that. I’m not that drunk. I didn’t order six bottles of tequila.’”

Hall further stressed that “no charges were pressed” following the altercation.

“I didn’t get charged, and they gave me a slip of paper that said it was a citizen’s arrest, and then I was out,” he recalled. “I went in the cell, but I was out in two and a half hours [or] three hours.”

Hall also denied getting into an altercation at the time.

“It wasn’t really like a fight,” podcast cohost Josh Richards chimed in at the time. “It was a little, like, push back and forth, skirmish, and then we left. … It was, like, a citizen’s arrest thing.”

Hall rose to fame in 2014, quickly gaining a million followers on Musical.ly.

“I started social media originally because I wanted to help my mom,” Hall told Forbes in 2023. “I wanted to buy her house. I wanted to just give back to her for raising a son, single. … [The] goal is to take over the entertainment space. Every single form of entertainment, I’m gonna do it at least once.”
