Kendall Jenner offered rare insight into her personal life while addressing past rumors about her sexuality.
Kendall, 30, recalled speculation about her friendship with Cara Delevingne during the Thursday, October 15, episode of The Kardashians, saying, “We have been friends for a long time now — going on 11 or 12 years. She brought me under her wing — in a way — and made me feel really safe and welcome in the modeling world.”
The model recalled the public questioning her connection with Delevingne, 34.
“We should address this. It’s because of our love for each other. People think I’m a lesbian to this day,” she added. “I’m not.”
Despite not having an attraction to women, Kendall noted she “wouldn’t be opposed to having some fun with a girl.”
“There’s definitely a rumor that her and I dated or something in the past, which is not true. Not that I would have anything wrong with dating Cara but we’ve just always been best buds,” she continued. “I love Cara. She’s my sister and that never happened. For the record, I think being a lesbian would be fun and amazing.”
Kendall joked that “being a lesbian would be fun and easier” because “men suck.”
“By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara. I just have never had a desire to have sex with women,” she continued. “Never say never, right?”
Currently, Kendall is dating Jacob Elordi after they have been linked since April.
“They have known each other socially for years now and have hung out in similar circles, but it became romantic recently,” a source exclusively told Us at the time, adding that Kendall thought the Euphoria star, 29, was “a really cool and down-to-earth guy.”
The insider hinted Kendall’s opinion on dating an actor had changed after her sister Kylie Jenner found love with Timothée Chalamet.
“It has been fun for Kylie and Kendall to hang out with Timothée and Jacob together because they are all friendly and have a lot of common ground,” the source told Us. “It doesn’t happen often, but it has been fun for the four of them.”
Before Elordi, Kendall was linked to Devin Booker and Bad Bunny. The reality star previously spoke about her dreams of starting a family someday after seeing her sisters welcoming their own children through the years.
“I go in and out of phases [of having baby fever],” she told E! News in May 2019. “Some days, I’ll be there and I’ll be like, ‘[Oh, my God], I think it’s happening. I think I have the fever.’”
Kendall later defended her decision to not rush into that stage of her life, telling Vogue in 2024, “When I was young, I used to say that by 27, I’d love to have kids.”
She continued: “Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.”
Hulu releases new episodes of The Kardashians every Thursday.
