Kendra Wilkinson is celebrating a new milestone in her ongoing wellness transformation.
“Omg I’ve lost so much weight LOL. Fitting back in my old jeans,” the reality star-turned-real estate agent, 40, captioned a new Instagram Stories photo, in which she showed off her slim waistline in light blue denims and a black tank top.
Wilkinson pointed out, “And these are my old jeans…”
When one social media user asked how she achieved her results, she teased, “GLP-1. A new ad I’m doing coming out Tuesday.”
In another post she shared via Instagram Stories, a fan questioned how many pounds she has lost so far.
“I haven’t stepped on a scale,” Wilkinson responded. “I go by the fit of my clothes and old clothes. Was on my way to size 10. Now I’m less than a size 6.”
Wilkinson announced the start of her GLP-1 journey in March, becoming one of a growing list of celebrities who have publicly discussed their decision to take the controversial medication — used to treat type 2 diabetes — for weight loss. (The use of GLP-1 drugs has erupted in popularity due to its weight loss benefits.)
“There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress,” Wilkinson exclusively shared with Us at the time. “I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore. Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans. So I actually signed up for a shot company that will be delivering my shot next week. So I’ll start my journey next week.”
“I just want to slightly, like, ease my way into it,” the mom of two — who shares kids Hank, 16, and Alijah, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett — explained. “I just want to be balanced out. I don’t really want to be skinny, but I just want to be balanced.”
After sharing her weight loss progress update, Wilkinson opened up with her three million followers about a career setback she was reeling from.
“When a client fires you…after all the work you put in,” she captioned a photo on Sunday, July 26, in which she was crying in her car. “Ya. I’m struggling today guys.”
“I know that we’re living in a world of struggle right now. I know that, but it’s hard right now,” she vented. “I feel like I’m doing everything right in my life. I’m raising my kids. I’m putting them first.”
Wilkinson continued, “It’s just such a struggle right now finding people to work with me, getting fired, people being rude and mean — it’s taking a toll.”
The Girls Next Door alum later shared a follow-up video thanking fans for their well wishes, noting she freshened up and was ready to approach a new day.
“Got to get back up, right?” she continued. “I do have to brush my hair, but it’s time to fight a new one and live and enjoy and be grateful for the things I do have. I love you guys. Thank you.”
