Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky continue to prove that they’re the ultimate coparents.
“The amount of tears that I cried … my baby @portia_umansky has graduated high school (with honors),” Kyle, 57, captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday, June 10. “This chapter has closed and a new one will begin … So many emotions.”
She continued, “I am so incredibly proud of the person that you are and how you carry yourself through life. You are loved by so many because you give so much love. So excited for you and for what comes next! I love you so much Portia.”
Mauricio, 55, shared her post via his Instagram Story, tagging Portia, 18, and sending a message of congratulations.
Kyle shares her youngest daughter with Mauricio, along with Alexia, 29, and Sophia, 26. She is also the mother of Farrah Aldjufrie, whom she shares with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
Alexia also offered her TikTok followers an inside look into Portia’s graduation day. In the clip, Kyle and Maurico could be seen standing on chairs recording their youngest daughter as she’s honored.
“Nothing prepares you for the feeling of watching your parents watch their baby graduate,” she wrote.
One clip showed Kyle and Mauricio with their arms wrapped around each other.
Kyle and Mauricio have been separated since July 2023, but neither of them have filed for divorce. The couple were married for 27 years before deciding to go their separate ways.
“There are times in life that you’re wondering, ‘When should I pull the plug on this marriage?’” Kyle said during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 finale. “I feel like, you’ll know when that time comes. I think there’ll be a moment where you say, ‘Ah ha, OK, this is that moment.’”
She added, “I know that that’s going to happen for me, probably soon. So, when that moment comes, I will know and I will act on it.”
During her confessional, Kyle reflected on hearing about other couples who split after years-long marriages and how she never thought it would become her reality.
“I can remember I would hear about other couples that would split up after being married so many years and their kids getting married and having babies,” she said. “I would think, ‘That’s so stupid, why would they do that?’ And then, I’m like, ‘How did we get here?’”
The Bravo star added, “To have all these big life moments happening now. Having Alexia go off and get married and Portia go to college, it feels strange to be on my own.”
