LeAnn Rimes celebrated the premiere of her new show, 9-1-1: Nashville, with husband Eddie Cibrian by her side!

The couple hit the red carpet event on Tuesday, October 7, in Nashville looking every bit the power couple. For the occasion, Rimes, 43, wore a long denim dress with cutouts at the sides and a pleated skirt. Cibrian, 52, wore a camel-colored jacket, a white T-shirt and jeans.

As well as cozying up to her man, Rimes joined her 9-1-1: Nashville costars for photos on the red carpet. The actress posed with the likes of series lead Chris O’Donnell, Grey’s Anatomy alum Jessica Capshaw, Michael Provost and Hunter McVey, who plays her onscreen son.

The latest entry in ABC’s hit 9-1-1 franchise cocreated by Ryan Murphy, the series follows Nashville first responders as they deal with life-threatening emergencies in Music City. The show premieres Thursday, October 9, on ABC.

In an exclusive Us Weekly cover story published on Tuesday, Rimes opened up about her lasting relationship with Cibrian, with whom she celebrated her 14th wedding anniversary in April.

“If I look back at our relationship, I’m really in awe of the things that we’ve endured and how we’ve grown together,” Rimes said. “The place we’re in now is just so comfortable and calm and quiet. We really find our quiet together. That’s really important.”

Rimes added, “We love doing simple things together. We’re very normal. That normalcy is what allowed us to have this relationship in this crazy business. Our relationship is better than it’s ever been. I really do have very major moments of gratitude.”

With her new show and her marriage to Cibrian thriving, Rimes opened up to Us about how she has changed over the years.

“As you get older, there’s so much that has to be done in order to maintain and take care of your body and your mind,” she said. “Thriving for me is really becoming disciplined about my health and my goals. That just allows me the space to be able to do whatever I want to from that place of really grounded care.”

“We all have to break — and not just once. It will happen often,” Rimes continued. “Rock bottom looks different for everybody [but] you have a choice. In my darkest moments, it’s always been about, How do I find the light again?”

Rimes also previewed her new role, which marks her return to acting. “[Playing Dixie Bennings], I get to let out a side of myself that doesn’t ever come out in real life, so it’s very healing in that way. It was definitely a stretch for me,” she gushed to Us about her character. “Dixie is obsessed with her son. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her son as a single mom. But she definitely feels like she’s been slighted in life. She will go to every extreme in order to get what she feels like she’s owed — including manipulating his love.”

9-1-1: Nashville premieres on ABC Thursday, October 9, at 9 p.m. ET before streaming the next day on Hulu.
