Lori Loughlin’s estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, has filed new documents in their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Giannulli, 63, requested to dissolve their marriage on Thursday, October 15, according to court documents obtained by Us. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and asked the court to “determine whether spousal support shall be payable to either party upon a request of either party.” The fashion designer also asked the judge to determine whether “one party should make a contribution” to cover their ex’s legal fees. (Page Six was first to report the news.)
Loughlin, 62, has not publicly responded to Giannulli’s motion. Us has reached out for comment.
Loughlin and Giannulli, who share two daughters, were married from 1997 until their separation in 2025. Us confirmed last month that the Full House alum filed for divorce, claiming the pair’s union was irretrievably broken.
In Loughlin’s petition, she also noted that the twosome had signed a prenuptial agreement before they got married. (Giannulli’s motion did not mention the prenup.)
“He is still worth a lot of money and the prenup does not benefit her,” a source previously told Us in October 2025. “Lori is so nice and does not have a vindictive bone in her body.”
As Giannulli and Loughlin navigate their divorce, the actress is ready for her next chapter.
“I think I’m at a place in my life where I feel comfortable enough to put something together that maybe feels a little bit edgier or a little out of my box,” Loughlin told Us in an exclusive interview earlier this month, revealing it’s been “exhilarating” to step outside of her comfort zone. “There might be trepidation, but I’m gonna try it. What’s the worst that can happen? You don’t like it or it doesn’t work out? At least you tried it. And you might be pleasantly surprised.”
She continued, “We’re just trying to be out there and live life, enjoy it all. It’s the year of yes. It’s [a] time of looking out for ourselves [and] putting yourself first, in ways.”
Loughlin further stressed the importance of “prioritizing yourself” now that she’s an empty nester.
“It’s a great time to do it, especially when you’re on your own or you’re an empty nester and your kids are out on their own,” Loughlin told Us. “We will always be moms, always have to be in the mix and ready to roll up our sleeves and be there.”
