An elderly man was found dead in the waters just off a Queens park Tuesday, cops said, 

The 80-year-old was discovered floating in the East River bordering Hunter’s Point South Park, near 50th Avenue and Center Boulevard, around 4:40 p.m., police said. 

A passerby spotted the body and called 911, law enforcement sources said.

The man, who was not immediately identified by police, was removed from the water by the NYPD’s Harbor Unit and the FDNY, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS workers. 

His body showed no apparent signs of trauma, but his cause of death remains under investigation, cops said.
