Former ’90s kids are going to love the cartoon combo coming to McDonald’s Happy Meals.
The fast food chain announced an exclusive collab that will have nostalgic fans rushing to the Golden Arches: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Hello Kitty and Friends Happy Meal.
The McDonald’s “fandom fusion of epic proportions” will be available in restaurants nationwide starting Aug. 12, the chain noted.
On the same day, the home of the Big Mac will launch the new “McDonaldland Meal” — inspired by the “mystical world” they first created way back in 1971.
Twelve figurines will be available to collect, each one a fusion of the two cartoon classics.
“Think Donatello with a dash of Cinnamoroll, or Kuromi rocking Michelangelo’s fierce attitude,” McDonald’s menu spotter read.
Each Happy Meal comes with one of the 12 figurines and a character card that shares their unique skills and backstory.
McDonald’s stressed that the three-way collaboration will be available only for a limited time: “So race to your nearest McDonald’s and collect them all before they vanish into the fandom multiverse.”

The McDonaldland Meal comes with your choice of a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, a “first-of-its-kind” collectible souvenir, and the brand-new Mt. McDonaldland Shake — an ode to one of the land’s major landmarks.
The Mt. McDonaldland Shake “offers a secret concoction as enchanting as the world itself” and is inspired by the blue lava and pink clouds of the mythical volcano.
Each meal comes with a tin of collectibles that includes postcards and stickers recognizing the McDonald’s characters, “because no trip is complete without a souvenir.” Fans have the chance to collect six exclusive collectibles.
