Her procedure cracked their relationship.

An online influencer claims her boyfriend broke up with her after she got a butt lift.

Débora Dunhill, a Brazilian content creator with over one million followers, decided she wanted to boost her bum, but didn’t feel the need to let her boyfriend know beforehand because it wasn’t “necessary,” she told NeedToKnow.

Dunhill underwent a butt harmonization surgery — a non-invasive procedure which uses collagen to improve the skin’s elasticity and volume.

“I did it one morning and went on with my life as usual,” Dunhill said, adding that she didn’t think it was “something radical or too visible.”

However, her boyfriend of two years had a different opinion.

While the two were on a getaway, her partner directly asked her if she had any work done — and was not happy with her response.

“He said he felt betrayed, as if I had hidden something important,” Dunhill recounted.

He claimed that she “altered the body he loved without telling him” and lamented about how he felt “betrayed.”

She tried to explain that it was a personal decision about her body and that she didn’t intend to hide anything from him — but he wouldn’t accept it. The pair broke up that week.

“He said that if I made this decision on my own, I should also move forward alone,” Dunhill said.

In the end, she’s thankful that her boyfriend ended it.

“Deep down, it wasn’t about the procedure. It was about him not knowing how to deal with a woman who feels secure and free in her own body,” she insisted.

She hopes her story will inspire others to feel confident in their body and find true love.

“The freedom to change, evolve, or take care of yourself shouldn’t be a reason for conflict,” Dunhill said.

“If it bothers someone, maybe it was never love.”
