Nicole Kidman shined bright at the 2026 Oscars two months after finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban.

Kidman, 58, dazzled in a Chanel gown featuring a strapless peplum corset top and feather details during the event on Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. She paired the nude-colored ensemble with a soft glam makeup look and wore her long blonde locks styled in loose waves.

The Scarpetta actress was revealed as one of the presenters ahead of the ceremony along with a list of other A-listers set to make appearances, including Rose Byrne, Jimmy Kimmel, Delroy Lindo, Ewan McGregor, Wagner Moura, Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, Lewis Pullman, Channing Tatum and Sigourney Weaver.

It’s been quite a monumental year for Kidman, as she made her single status official after a judge signed off on her divorce from Urban, 58, in January. Kidman and Urban were married for 19 years before she filed to officially end her marriage to the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer in September 2025. Kidman and Urban share two daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15.

Days prior to the Oscars appearance, Kidman broke her silence on her split from Urban.

“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward,” Kidman told Variety in a Wednesday, March 11, interview when asked if she was doing OK post-divorce. “That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”

Kidman also revealed that she planned to continue living in Nashville following the breakup.

“We have our life here,” the Lioness actress said. “I’m part of the city and community for 20 years. It’s my home. ”

Kidman isn’t harping on the past, and is instead looking forward to her future projects. She is particularly excited for the release of one of her next projects, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, in which she executive produces and stars, next month. Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Thaddea Graham and Greg Kinnear also star in the upcoming comedy drama series.

“There were such good roles for Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning,” Kidman reflected. “I wanted to be involved and help get this thing made to watch them shine. And all women directed it. This is what we’re trying to put into the world. I get to do something that I love, and so many other people benefit. I’m in a position where I can choose what I do, which is lucky. And if that goes away? I go back to just being a worker bee.”
