Ryan Reynolds seemingly dodged a question about his friendship with Travis Kelce.

In a video shared via TikTok on Friday, May 2, Reynolds, 48, approached a crowd of fans and photographers to sign autographs. The person filming repeatedly asked the Deadpool actor questions like, “How come Travis Kelce unfollowed you?” and, “Are you guys friends?” Reynolds did not answer or acknowledge the questions before moving on to sign more autographs.

Kelce, 35, reportedly unfollowed Reynolds on Instagram, per an extensive Reddit thread complete with apparent screenshots showing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end not listed as one of Reynolds’ followers. Us Weekly could not confirm whether Kelce followed Reynolds to begin with.

Neither Kelce nor Reynolds have publicly addressed the situation.

Lively filed a lawsuit in December 2024 accusing Baldoni, 41, of sexual harassment. The director denied the allegations and in January went on to sue Lively and Reynolds, as well as Lively’s publicist Leslie Sloane, for $400 million. Sloane has since filed to be removed from the lawsuit while Lively and Reynolds have denied Baldoni’s accusations. The trial is scheduled to start in 2026.

In his January filing, Baldoni included alleged text messages where he appeared to reference Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, regarding Lively’s adjustments to the film’s now-infamous rooftop scene.

“Was working on rooftop scene today, I really love what you did. It really does hep [sic] a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor),” Baldoni wrote along with a winking face emoji. “You really are a talent across the board. Really excited nd [sic] grateful to do this together.”

Fans have started to speculate that Kelce’s apparent unfollowing of Reynolds was related to Swift’s name seemingly being dragged into the legal drama. Swift, 35, “wasn’t happy with being brought into the legal mess,” a source exclusively told Us in March. Fans have also raised questions about the status of Lively, 37, and Swift’s longtime friendship amid the ongoing legal drama.

In February, a separate source told Us that despite Swift’s name being included in the drama, she had “no creative involvement” in It Ends With Us, though her song “My Tears Ricochet” was included in the trailer.

“Taylor has always been Blake’s friend, but Taylor doesn’t have any involvement in the case. She wasn’t part of the movie,” the insider told Us at the time. “Taylor was not a producer on the film.”

The same source added, “While she and Blake are friends, this case is now a legal matter for the courts to resolve. Dragging Taylor into it is unnecessary and misrepresents what really happened.”

Earlier this month, it was reported by multiple outlets that Swift — along with Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine costar Hugh Jackman — could be served with subpoenas as part of the ongoing It Ends With Us drama.
