Seann William Scott filed court documents revealing his massive monthly income and substantial net worth as part of his court battle with his ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
The American Pie star, 48, submitted an income and expense declaration in court detailing his financial situation, on Monday, August 18.
Scott, listed himself as an actor who started work in the field in 2000. He said he earned $54,699 last month, but on average, he takes home around $110,000 per month in salary or wages. He earns an average of $45,000 per month on royalty payments and $31,000 on dividends/interest payments.
He has $158,000 in cash and checking/savings accounts, $12,285,322 in stocks and bonds and another $18,781,328 in real property, including three homes in Los Angeles, a Mini Cooper worth $30,000, a Honda Passport worth $55,000, jewelry worth $650 and furniture worth $171,000. Scott also owns artwork valued at $93,000.
His monthly expenses include $15,000 in property taxes, $5,000 in repairs, $2,500 on groceries, $1,500 on eating out, $2,000 on utilities, $500 on his cell phone, $1,500 on clothes, $1,500 on entertainment and $11,000 on various other bills for a grand total of $59,039 spent on bills per month.
In the divorce, he paid his legal team nearly $500,000. Scott said he believed his ex earned around $5,500 per month as an interior designer.
As Us first reported, on July 28, the judge presiding over Scott and Korenberg’s divorce sided with the actor.
Scott filed for divorce from Korenberg, 35, in 2024 after four years of marriage. They reached a joint custody deal a couple of months later.
In April, Korenberg filed new documents claiming Scott was attempting to “evict” her from one of his homes. She pleaded with the court to postpone the date Scott wanted her out of the home. She also demanded sole custody and for permission to move further than 20 miles away from Scott, which the custody deal required.
Korenberg claimed Scott purchased a $3.3 million home in 2023 for her and their daughter to live in. She said he approved of renovations and made it appear she could stay longer than the one year they agreed on. Korenberg claims he asked her to move out of the home weeks after she told him about a new romantic partner.
Scott denied the claims. He said he never promised Korenberg she could live in the home long-term. He said his decision to sell was not retaliatory, and he supported her new relationship. He said the decision was made after a talk with his financial advisors.
The two testified in court during a multi-day trial. The court ended up denying Korenberg’s attempt to gain sole custody.
The parties are currently fighting over attorney fees in the case.
In her filing, Korenberg said she believed Scott earned over $200,000 per month. She claimed she has only made around $350 per month in income from her interior design company. She earned another $2,750 in interest.
Korenberg listed $23,000 in the bank and $1 million in stock or bonds. She said her monthly expenses totaled $15,685, of which Scott paid $6,000.
In the documents, it was revealed that Scott attempted to settle the matter before the case went to trial. He offered to buy Korenberg a home to live in near his home in Venice, California. His lawyer said Korenberg “simply was not interested.”
“What initially should have been resolved in a straightforward manner was instead transformed by Olivia into a convoluted ordeal, made increasingly convoluted by Olivia repeatedly changing her mind regarding her preferred destination, which resulted in substantial fees being unreasonably incurred,” Scott’s lawyer alleged. Scott also agreed to increase the child support. He asked that her request for $284,000 in legal fees be denied.
Korenberg’s lawyer argued the fees were justified, and her client, while she did not prevail, was looking out for their daughter’s best interest.
A judge has yet to rule.
