Introducing Mrs. Levin! Selena Gomez said “I do” in a gown that combined classic bridal elegance with a modern twist.
The singer, 33, tied the knot with Benny Blanco (real name: Benjamin Joseph Levin) in a romantic wedding ceremony on Saturday, September 27, wearing a wedding dress that was timeless, polished and magical. Every detail of Gomez’s look felt thoughtfully chosen as she made it official with her now-husband, 37.
The singer wore a high-neck, sleeveless halter gown in various photos and videos she shared on her wedding day via Instagram. The dress, which seemingly cinched at the waist and featured a traditional, long train, complimented the singer’s figure. Her look was timeless, old Hollywood glamour reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe.
It was no surprise that Gomez delivered the blueprint for the dreamiest walk down the aisle months after the couple announced their engagement in December 2024. Blanco was no slouch in the style department either, wearing a classic suit featuring a timeless bowtie for the momentous occasion.
Leading up to the ceremony, an insider exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly the couple’s wedding was set for this weekend in Santa Barbara, California. It was revealed their rehearsal dinner would be held Friday, September 26, with the ceremony to follow the next day. “It will be a huge, A-list, star-studded wedding planned by Mindy Weiss,” the source explained.
Gomez also fueled the speculation with a photo showing a table full of Rare Beauty products including foundation, blush and lipstick via her brand’s Instagram account on Wednesday, September 23. “Me all weekend,” she captioned the image.
On September 9, the actress gave a wedding planning update while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon alongside her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin.
“It’s wonderful. I’m very lucky,” she gushed about the process. “It’s going well. I’m so excited.”
“I’m sure our invites will arrive any day now,” Martin, 80, quipped.
When asked by host Jimmy Fallon if they were both welcome at her nuptials, she sweetly replied, “Of course they are — Marty’s the ring bearer.”
Prior to that, it was reported that Gomez and Blanco would be exchanging their vows in the Montecito/Santa Barbara area of Southern California, per TMZ.
Gomez got the party started in late August when she jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate her bachelorette party with her closest girlfriends, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly.
“It was a very fun but chill weekend,” the source shared on August 27. “These girls have been close to her for over a decade now, so it meant the world to her to celebrate these moments with them.”
In addition to a fun-filled boat outing, the girl squad enjoyed “private dinners with a chef and a villa to themselves with plenty of lounging in the sun,” according to the tipster. “Her girlfriends went out of their way to make Selena feel really special.”
“It was your typical, traditional bachelorette and what Selena wanted,” the insider shared with Us, revealing Gomez was beaming the whole time and having the time of her life.
Gomez stunned in a hand-crochet Cult Gaia dress with an off-the-shoulder silhouette and 3D floral applique during the festivities, also donning a “Yaeko” halterneck mini dress from the brand Retrofête for $1,500 paired with a $16 tulle layered veil from Lulus.
The insider added, “Selena is a simple girl, and the little things go a long way with her. She truly exudes happiness when she talks about Benny. She is very excited to start this next chapter with him.”
