Sorry, Double-Double devotees.

The 2026 ranking of the “World’s 101 Best Burgers” has officially dropped, and while Los Angeles made a killer showing by snagging six coveted spots on the global list, In-N-Out was nowhere to be found.

The international ranking, which evaluates the quality of ingredients, burger composition, execution and consistency, crowned London’s Bleecker burger as the best on earth.

The overall guest experience, reputation, “authenticity of digital presentation,” sustainability practices and compliance with safety protocols are also taken into consideration when determining the ranking.

Leading the city’s burger brigade was Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers, landing at number nine, making it the highest-ranked burger spot in Los Angeles and one of just three US restaurants to crack the global top 10. Founded by chef Alvin Cailan, Amboy is famous for their custom, ultra-premium beef blends built around varying patty thickness.

The French bistro burger also dominated the upper echelons of the list. The Arts District’s Camphor took the number 15 spot, while Petit Trois slid in at number 32 with its famously decadent Big Mec.

Making up the rest of the list are Hermon’s “Ode to Chez Cheeseburger” with soubise fondue at number 70 and Culver City’s Simonette at 99, offering a Parisian take on a classic burger with caramelized onions and bordelais sauce. Sneaking in at the buzzer is HiHo Cheeseburger, with their 100% grass-fed wagyu beef patties.
