Tamra Judge is setting the record straight about her involvement in Bravo’s upcoming show The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
“We have a headline that I personally would like to address,” Judge, 58, shared on the Thursday, February 5, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “As you guys all know, we are filming [The Real Housewives of] Orange County. Me and Shannon [Beador] and Heather [Dubrow] and a few others were invited to the very first filming of Ultimate Girls Trip and me and Shannon did have some words.”
As a result, the Bravo stars were asked not to attend the finale party at Dorinda Medley’s home for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
“They decided that it would be best — I think it was our production company — that we are not together so we can save it for the upcoming season,” Judge told cohost Dolores Catania. “So it wasn’t like something horrible happened and I got disinvited. I was planning on going. They had my plane tickets, I had my dress.”
According to Judge, producers wanted “to protect what could have been said between us and keep it for our new season.”
“They thought it would be best to do that — not because I was in trouble or she was in trouble or anything like that,” Judge continued. “[We] totally understood.”
Earlier this week, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung Minkoff flagged on her own podcast with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey that Judge may not be part of the finale event.
“I was listening to Tamra on Jeff Lewis the other day and she said she was disinvited to the finale because of what happened in Orange County,” Minkoff, 43, said on the Monday, February 2, episode of “Humble Brag with Crystal and Cynthia” podcast. “That was their first stop, and I think it got really heated.”
On January 14, Andy Cohen officially announced the cast for season 1 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow will be part of the star-studded crew.
According to Bravo, the special event series will follow a group of Real Housewives as they make their way through some of the most memorable locations in the franchise’s history.
“Starting where it all began in Orange County and culminating in an epic East Coast grand finale, each stop will feature appearances by fan favorites from different cities to pay tribute to the past, embrace the present and look toward the many miles still ahead,” Bravo stated.
According to Catania, 55, the finale was held at Medley’s home and featured The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast.
“Since they had all the OGs under one roof — minus our favorite, you of course — I think it was an introduction to them,” she told Judge. “I think that it was kind of a nice way of them being introduced to the girls and giving them some advice. You’ll see.”
A premiere date for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th has yet to be announced.
