Travis Kelce is all about self-improvement — and trying to impress his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
“I feel like Taylor has expanded your [palate],” Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, began on the Wednesday, May 6, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, referring to his sibling’s once-picky eating habits.
Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, chimed in to add that Travis, 36, has been “more adventurous with food” ever since he started dating Swift, also 36, in 2023.
“Yeah, I’m trying to act like more of a man when I’m around her,” Travis quipped. “[I am] eating foods I haven’t tried before. Yes!”
Swift is an avid baker, often serving up sourdough loaves and other tasty treats for Travis. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, meanwhile, had long been partial to certain culinary tastes.
“It’s not even judging [certain foods]. It’s just, like, a mental block,” Travis previously said on an October 2024 podcast episode, adding that he was “starting to open up” to different types of cuisines.
Jason, 37, gushed at the time that Swift was the one who was responsible for the change.
“She’s introducing new foods to you,” Jason added. “It’s become one of the greatest things that I’ve been happy about.”
Travis proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating, and they are now gearing up for their wedding day.
“Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding,” podcast guest Rory McIlroy said on Wednesday, referring to his recent back-to-back Masters tournament victory. “You have all the people in a room … [and] it’s amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood … and it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable.”
McIlroy, 37, added, “The only thing that I can compare it to is your wedding day because it’s like all this collection of people in the same room. It’s, like, wild.”
Travis replied: “I can’t wait.”
Both Travis and Swift have kept details about their forthcoming nuptials close to their chest.
“I’m just doing the album thing now, which is a big thing,” Swift previously said on The Graham Norton Show in October 2025, referring to her Life of a Showgirl promotional tour. “I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning, but I’m so excited about it. I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”
