Unexpected star Bella Vaughn is entering her bridal era.
Bella, 16, announced she is engaged to boyfriend Hunter Johnson more than one year after welcoming their first child.
“From promise ring to engagement ring, I’ll forever love you hunter wesley and i can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🥹💋#tlcunexpected #teenmom #engagement #15andpregnant💙 #fiance,” she captioned a TikTok post on Tuesday, May 5.
Bella included two photos, the first of which was her promise ring: a delicate gold band on her left hand with a small heart-shaped design at the center. Tiny stones lined part of the band, adding a subtle shimmer.
The second photo showed her new bling: a gold band featuring a large, square-cut diamond in a prominent solitaire setting. The sparkling stone is elevated.
“Now the best thing about my left hand … is a ring on it, from the right man,” she wrote.
Bella’s engagement ring photo included a cameo from Hunter, 14, and their 13-month-old son, Wesley, who placed their hands on hers for the shot.
Bella gave birth to the couple’s son via C-section in March 2025. (Bella and Hunter are one year and six months apart in age. She is a sophomore in high school, while he is a freshman.)
She spoke about her birth experience in April in a video while getting ready, revealing that her doctor advised her to get a cesarean for a number of reasons.
Bella said that she did a 40-week ultrasound, where they discovered her son was 9 pounds, 12 ounces. “That is a lot of baby,” she explained. “And he wasn’t dropping.”
Following the arrival of their son, Bella fired back at criticism aimed toward her parents for allowing her to shower with Hunter while recovering.
“The shower scene, y’all hated, but I was 15 years old, freshly postpartum, out of the hospital and had my stomach cut open [from a C-section],” Bella replied via a TikTok clip posted on April 2. “I had just got my staples removed literally hours prior to that.”
“Hunter helped me out because I just had his baby,” she pointed out. “He should be there, helping me when he’s the one that made the baby with me.”
Bella’s mom, Falen Vaughn, also responded to the backlash she saw on social media.
“I treat him just like I treat my kids,” Falen said of Hunter. “I call him out when he needs to be called out. I take care of him just like I take care of my kids. That’s what you do when someone else becomes part of your family, you take care of them.”
