Jason Oppenheim is ready to be a shoulder for ex Chrishell Stause following her shocking split from G Flip.

Oppenheim, 49, was quick to support Stause, 45, on Monday, October 26, after she announced her and G Flip’s breakup after three years of marriage and a very public fertility journey.

“I’m really sorry to hear this,” he wrote in the comments section of Stause’s emotional video announcement shared via Instagram. “I’m thinking of you and sending you my love.”

Stause revealed hours earlier that she and the Australian singer, 33, were “no longer together,” admitting she feels “like a little bit of a failure” after her second broken marriage. (Stause was previously married to Justin Hartley. The pair split in 2019 after two years of marriage, finalizing the divorce in 2021.)

Selling Sunset alum Chrishell Stause has announced her split from G Flip after three years of marriage. “I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” Stause, 45, said in an Instagram video on Monday, October 26. “G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation […]

Oppenheim, however, reassured his former Selling Sunset costar that she was not a failure.

“You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed,” he wrote. “There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process.”

Oppenheim told Stause, “Please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what. ❤️.”

Chrishell Stause is settled in her marriage to G Flip — and would “never” get back together with ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim. After receiving an Instagram DM from a fan proclaiming that they missed seeing Stause, 42, dating Oppenheim, 45, the Selling Sunset star clapped back. “I get these comments all the time on every post, […]

Following Stause’s divorce from Hartley, 49, she briefly dated Jason while working for him at the Oppenheim Group, which he founded with his twin brother, Brett Oppenheim.

The pair sparked romance speculation in July 2021 while on a cast trip to Italy, where Stause was spotted getting cozy with Jason.

“Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship,” Jason exclusively told Us that same month. “I care about her deeply and we’re very happy together.”

Stause and Jason’s whirlwind romance, however, came to an end before the end of the year.

“While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends. We will always love and support one another,” Jason confirmed via Instagram in December 2021. “She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.

Stause moved on with G Flip in 2022 and the couple got married in May 2023.

Throughout their relationship, Stause was open about her infertility struggles as she and G Flip attempted to start a family.

Less than one year after Stause told Bustle in November 2025 that she was considering giving IVF “one more chance” after her Selling Sunset exit, she and G Flip called it quits.

“We have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person,” Stause said in her Instagram video on Monday. “I don’t have all the information or the reasons. I’m sure just as always with time you get the lessons you’re meant to get.”

G Flip broke their silence on the split that same afternoon, writing in their own social media statement, “After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no longer together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply.”

The “Bed on Fire” singer added, “My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”
